
I don’t know about you, but for me, summer brings beach trips, days by the pool, on the lake and minimal clothing. Overall, summer requires that summer body! It’s so hard to know when to start getting in shape though. Do you start right after New Years just like everybody else?
Obviously, with tennis, I usually stay in shape year round and workout consistently. However, summer requires that I am in my best shape possible. I have longer hours on the court which requires much more endurance and strength!
I wanted to share an app that I have come to looovee because it is so convenient for me to use. It’s the Nike Training app. This app will give you workouts based on whatever you would like to work on. It breaks down the body into each muscle group and you are able to choose the intensity of the workout as well. The app also features a section where you can pick 15 minute “get focused” workouts. These workouts are very concentrated! I love it!
It’s something that regardless of how busy you are during the way whether it be with work, school or anything else, 15 minutes is all it will take!
Recently though, I have “unlocked” more workouts and have downloaded Shawn Johnson’s stretching routine. She runs you through her 15 minute stretching routine. I have found it to be a great cool down at the end of the day! They have also included various new smoothie recipes! Yum! Although, I have not tried them out yet!
I definitely recommend this app for everyone. Whether you pump iron in the gym daily or work out just whenever you feel like it. There are many options for everyone! Let me know what you think :) happy workouts! Xo
